MARK MILLAR

Mark Millar is a New York Times best-selling comic-book writer and Hollywood producer, making history when he sold his Millarworld company to Netflix in 2017. At Marvel comics, he created The Ultimates, selected by Time magazine as the comic book of the decade and described by screenwriter Zak Penn as his inspiration for The Avengers movie. Millar also created Wolverine: Old Man Logan and Marvel’s Civil War, both likewise adapted into blockbuster summer movies. Civil War remains Marvel’s biggest-selling graphic novel of all time, and his seminal Superman: Red Son is the highest-selling Superman graphic novel in history.

At Millarworld, he has created over thirty franchises, adaptations of which include the Kingsman movies, Kick-Ass, Wanted, American Jesus, Jupiter’s Legacy and the anime series Supercrooks. He has ben an executive producer on every adaptation of his books and worked for four years as a creative consultant at 20th Century Fox on their Marvel slate of movies.
